Total employment in November 2015 was 11,235,000, which increased by 10,000(+0.09%) and 98,000 (+0.88%) from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
The unemployment rate in November 2015 was 3.91 percent, a slightly increase of 0.01 percentage points from the previous month, besides, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate also increased by 0.05 percentage points to 3.84 percent in November 2015. The number of unemployed persons was 457,000 in November 2015, which increased by 2,000(+0.35%) and 6,000(+1.20%) from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
Labor force participation rate was 58.74 percent in November 2015, which rose by 0.01 and 0.08 percentage points from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
