2. Statistical standard classifications are widely used in Taiwan. For instance, Industry, Commerce, and Services Census by DGBAS, Standard Industrial Tax Classification by Ministry of Finance, Industrial Product Classification by Ministry of Economic Affairs all employ the standard industrial classification. In addition, the Dictionary of Occupational Titles of the Employment & Vocational Training Administration, Council of Labor Affairs is based on the standard occupational classification.
