Facility cultivation can improve crops' growth conditions (including sunlight, temperature, moisture, air, and growth medium, etc.) and production management methods. It can achieve economic goals by providing an optimal growth environment.
2. The most recent census revealed that almost 55,000 farming households in Taiwan employee facility cultivation, and this number constitutes 8.0% of all farming households. The three leading crops grown using facility cultivation are fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
