i.At the end of December, the total payroll employees were 8,191 thousand, decreased by 3 thousand (or 0.03%) than the previous month.
ii.In December, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$48,422, increased by 0.55% than the previous month and increased by 2.12% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$12,872. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$61,294, increased by 0.76% than the same month last year. In 2023, the average regular earnings and the average total earnings were NT$48,043 and NT$61,920, respectively.
iii.In December, the average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$45,921, increased by 0.71% than the previous month and increased by 2.19% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$11,984. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$57,905, increased by 0.67% than the same month last year. Among it, the regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$200, increased by 0.50% than the previous month and increased by 0.50% than the same month last year. In 2023, the average regular earnings was NT$45,496, increased by 2.43% than last year. Also, the average total earnings was NT$58,545, increased by 1.42% than last year.
