i. At the end of February, the total payroll employees was 7,493 thousand, decreased by 7 thousand or 0.09% from last month. Comparing with the same month of last year, it increased 81 thousand or 1.09%. The average payroll employees since January was 7,497 thousand, increased 75 thousand or 1.01%.
ii. The average total earnings (including regular and irregular earnings) in February was NT$45,720, affected by year-end bonuses and performance bonuses granted mostly in last month, it was 50.91% less than last month and was 23.17% less than last February. The average total earnings since January 2017 was NT$69,442, 2.99% more than the same period of last year.
iii. The average regular earnings was NT$ 39,362, 0.80% less than last month and 1.88% more than last February. The average regular earnings since January 2017 was NT$39,520, 1.62% more than the same period of last year.
iv. The average working hour in February was 149.0 hours, 4.0 hours less than last month and 16.1 hours more than last February, mainly affected by the working days was less in February, 2016 with Chinese New Year Holidays. The average working hours since January 2017 was 151.0 hours, reduced 2.3 hours than the same period of last year.
