i. At the end of March, the total payroll employees was 7,509 thousand, increased by 16 thousand or 0.21% from last month. Comparing with the same month of last year, it increased 92 thousand or 1.24%. The average payroll employees since January was 7,501 thousand, increased 81 thousand or 1.09%.
ii. The average total earnings (including regular and irregular earnings) in March was NT$44,144, 3.45% less than last month and 0.60% more than last March.
iii. The average regular earnings was NT$ 39,781, 1.06% more than last month and 1.46% more than last March. The average regular earnings since January 2017 was NT$39,607, 1.57% more than the same period of last year.
iv. The average working hour in March was 185.1 hours, 36.1 hours more than last month and 1.2 hours less than last March. The average working hours since January 2017 was 162.4 hours, reduced by 2.0 hours than the same period of last year.
