The average employment since January 2015 was 7,369 thousand, increased by 122 thousand (or 1.70%) than the same period of last year. The average monthly hours of work in August 2015 was 178.2 hours, decreased by 8.8 hours from last month and decreased by 2.7 hours from the same month of last year. Since January 2015, the average working hours was 173.5 hours, 1.7 hours less than the same period of last year. The average regular earnings in August 2015 was NT$38,775, 0.24% less than last month and 1.27% more than the same month of last year. Average monthly earnings in August was NT$44,882, which was 4.43% less than last month and 0.85% more than the same month of last year.
