Industry and Services Sector Earnings Statistics in July 2024

i.In July, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$49,183, increased by 0.20% than the previous month and increased by 3.04% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$16,562. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$65,745, increased by 6.47% than the same month last year. The median regular earnings was NT$38,631, increased by 0.23% than the previous month and increased by 3.44% than the same month last year.

ii.In July, the average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$46,530, increased by 0.11% than the previous month and increased by 2.89% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$15,736. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$62,266, increased by 6.06% than the same month last year. The median regular earnings was NT$37,340, increased by 0.16% than the previous month and increased by 3.58% than the same month last year.

iii.In July, the regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$20,179, increased by 0.54% than the previous month and increased by 1.86% than the same month last year. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$20,943, increased by 0.08% than the previous month and increased by 1.81% than the same month last year. The median regular earnings was NT$15,389, increased by 1.34% than the previous month and decreased by 1.95% than the same month last year.

iv.At the end of July, the total payroll employees were 8,472 thousand, increased by 40 thousand (or 0.48%) than the previous month.
