i. At the end of October, the total payroll employees was 7,604 thousand, increased by 8 thousand or 0.12% from last month. Comparing with the same month of last year, it increased 130 thousand or 1.74%. The average payroll employees since January was 7,547 thousand, increased 106 thousand or 1.43%.
ii. The average total earnings (including regular and irregular earnings) in October was NT$44,517, 2.83% less than last month and 3.36% more than last October.
iii. The average regular earnings was NT$ 40,197 in October, 0.20% more than last month and 2.12% more than last October. The average regular earnings since January 2017 was NT$39,865, 1.78% more than the same period of last year.
iv. The average working hour in October was 161.0 hours, 15.2 hours less than last month and 0.5 hours more than last October. The average working hours since January 2017 was 168.4 hours, increased by 0.3 hours than the same period of last year.
v. The average overtime since January 2017 was 7.9 hours, 0.4 hours less than the same period of last year. The average overtime pay since January 2017 was NT$1,699, 5.59% more than the same period of last year.
