i.At the end of December, the total payroll employees were 7,990 thousand, increased by 9 thousand (or 0.11%) than the previous month. In 2019, the average total employees were 7,955 thousand, decreased by 12 thousand or 0.15% than last year.
ii.In December, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$45,100, increased by 0.71% than the same month last year. After adding the irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pays, the average total earnings was NT$56,088, decreased by 2.38% than the same month last year. In 2019, the average regular earnings and the average total earnings were NT$44,646 and NT$57,179, respectively
iii.The regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$42,947, increased by 1.07% than the same month last year. The average total earnings was NT$53,252, decreased by 1.95% than the same month last year. The regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$190, increased by 6.15% than the same month last year. Over the year, the average regular earnings was NT$42,498, increased by 1.47% than last year. Also, the average total earnings was NT$54,320, increased by 1.24% than last year.
