i.At the end of December, the total payroll employees was 7,720 thousand, increased by 6 thousand or 0.09% from last month. The average payroll employees in 2018 was 7,665 thousand, increased 105 thousand or 1.39% over the previous year.
ii.In December, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$43,703, 2.24% more than last December. After plus onto by irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pay, the total earnings came to NT$53,765, 3.80% more than last December. The average regular earnings in 2018 was NT$43,225, the total monthly earnings was NT$54,796.
iii.The average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time or part-time employees with Taiwan nationality or foreigners) in December was NT$41,414, 2.11% more than last December. If plus onto by the irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pay, the total earnings came to NT$50,861, increased by 3.62% than last December. The average regular earnings of all employees in 2018 was NT$40,980, 2.57% more than in 2017. The total earnings was NT$51,957, 3.94% more over the past year.
iv.The average working hour in December was 170.9 hours, 1.3 hours less than last December. The average working hours in 2018 was 169.3 hours, 0.3 hours less than in 2017.
