i.At the end of August, the total payroll employees were 8,093 thousand, mainly reflecting the recovery of labor market from the epidemic slowdown, increased by 30 thousand (or 0.36%) than the previous month.
ii.In August, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$45,543, increased by 0.99% than the previous month and increased by 1.97% than the same month last year. After adding the irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pays, the average total earnings was NT$53,911, increased by 0.70% than the same month last year.
iii.The average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$43,227, increased by 0.76% than the previous month and increased by 1.66% than the same month last year. The average total earnings was NT$51,169, increased by 0.49% than the same month last year. Among it, the regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$195, remained unchanged with the previous month and increased by 2.63% than the same month last year.
