i.At the end of December, the total payroll employees were 8,173 thousand, increased by 3 thousand (or 0.05%) than the previous month. In 2021, the total payroll employees were 8,130 thousand, increased by 17 thousand or 0.21% than last year.
ii.In December, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$46,322, increased by 2.70% than the same month last year. After adding the irregular earnings such as bonuses and overtime pays, the average total earnings was NT$58,103, increased by 2.88% than the same month last year. In 2021, the average regular earnings and the average total earnings were NT$45,454 and NT$58,821, respectively.
iii.In December, the average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$44,000, increased by 2.65% than the same month last year. The average total earnings was NT$54,989, increased by 2.74% than the same month last year. The regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$196, increased by 3.16% than the same month last year. In 2021, the average regular earnings was NT$43,211, increased by 1.93% than last year. Also, the average total earnings was NT$55,754, increased by 2.94% than last year.
