Total employment in November 2020 was 11,520,000, which increased by 10,000(+0.09%) from the previous month; however, it decreased by 6,000(-0.05%) from that of the previous year.
The unemployment rate declined by 0.05 percentage points to 3.75 percent in November 2020; the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained the same. The number of unemployed persons was 449,000 in November 2020, which decreased by 6,000(-1.23%) but increased by 2,000(+0.56%) from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
Labor force participation rate was 59.15 percent in November 2020, which rose by 0.02 percentage points but declined by 0.10 percentage points from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
