Manpower Survey Results in July 2015

    Total employment in July 2015 was 11,211,000, which increased by 26,000(+0.23%) and 120,000(+1.08%) from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.

     The unemployment rate in July 2015 was 3.82 percent, an increase of 0.11 percentage points from the previous month, in contrast, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped by 0.02 percentage points to 3.74 percent in July 2015. The number of unemployed persons was 445,000 in July 2015, which increased by 14,000(+3.25%) from the previous month, in contrast, it decreased by 19,000(-4.06%) from that of the previous year.

      Labor force participation rate was 58.74 percent in July 2015, which rose by 0.17 and 0.11 percentage points from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
