i.At the end of December, the total payroll employees were 8,201 thousand, increased by 4 thousand (or 0.05%) than the previous month. In 2022, the total payroll employees were 8,171 thousand, increased by 41 thousand or 0.50% than last year.
ii.In December, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$47,429, increased by 0.47% than the previous month and increased by 2.41% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$13,284. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$60,713, increased by 3.64% than the same month last year. In 2022, the average regular earnings and the average total earnings were NT$46,838 and NT$60,954, respectively.
iii.In December, the average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$44,955, increased by 0.64% than the previous month and increased by 2.22% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$12,450. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$57,405, increased by 3.53% than the same month last year. Among it, the regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$199, increased by 1.02% than the previous month and increased by 1.53% than the same month last year. In 2022, the average regular earnings was NT$44,417, increased by 2.80% than last year. Also, the average total earnings was NT$57,718, increased by 3.45% than last year.
