i.At the end of August, the total payroll employees were 8,191 thousand, increased by 11 thousand (or 0.14%) than the previous month.
ii.In August, the average regular earnings of full-time employees with Taiwan nationality (excluding the foreigners and part-time employees) was NT$46,971, increased by 0.18% than the previous month and increased by 3.37% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$12,197. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$59,168, mainly due to a number of companies grant more bonuses than the same period last year, increased by 7.59% than the same month last year.
iii.In August, the average regular earnings of all employees (including full-time and part-time employees with Taiwan nationality and foreigners) was NT$44,497, increased by 0.21% than the previous month and increased by 2.98% than the same month last year. The irregular earnings was NT$11,611. After adding the irregular earnings, the average total earnings was NT$56,108, increased by 7.25% than the same month last year. Among it, the regular hourly earnings of part-time employees was NT$196, remained unchanged with the previous month and increased by 1.03% than the same month last year.
