Total employment in June 2022 was 11,372,000, which increased by 1,000(+0.01%) form the previous month’s level; moreover, it also increased by 71,000(+0.63%) from that of the previous year.
The unemployment rate rose by 0.06 percentage points to 3.74 percent in June 2022; the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held at 3.73 percent. The number of unemployed persons was 442,000 in June 2022, an increase of 8,000(+1.87%) but a decrease of 128,000(-22.40%) from the previous month and that of the previous year, respectively.
Labor force participation rate rose by 0.07 percentage points to 59.12 percent in June 2022; moreover, it also rose by 0.36 percentage points from that of the previous year.
