National Statistics, Republic of China (Taiwan)

What do the ROC's green national accounts primarily include?

The ROC's green national accounts are compiled on the basis of the framework of the UN's System of integrated Environmental and Economic Accounting(SEEA) . However, limited by basic data, the main content of the country's green national accounts includes changes in natural resource stock and depletion of natural resource (water resources, non-metallic minerals, energy minerals, and soil/rock resources), environmental pollution emissions (air, water, and solid waste), and environmental degradation; this information is used to estimate Taiwan's green GDP, which expresses the relationship between economic development and the environment.
